New Westminster Wheelchair Basketball Program is on the Go
June 24, 2014 BCWBS and Douglas College are offering a beginner-to-intermediate level wheelchair basketball program until the end of July. This weekly program consists of skills sessions and scrimmage games where new players, juniors, development players, and Active-for-Life players can work on their individual and team skills under a BCWBS coach’s guidance. Register Now For the New Richmond Wheelchair Basketball Program
October 29, 2013 BCWBS is excited to announce that a new pilot wheelchair basketball program will be launching in Richmond starting November 6th. The six-week program, coached by Joe Higgins and Arley McNeney, will be aimed at beginners and intermediate players over age 13. The session will offer a one-hour skill session, plus a half-hour scrimmage, and will be focused on giving athletes the skills needed to take their game to the next level. read more...

City of Surrey To Launch New Wheelchair Basketball Junior Program
August 21, 2013 The City of Surrey and BC Wheelchair Basketball Society will be launching a new junior wheelchair basketball program at the Cloverdale Recreation Centre this Fall. The program is open to kids aged 8 - 18 years old of all experience levels and abilities and will run from on Tuesdays from October 1st to November 19th. Participants will learn the basics of wheelchair basketball through fun games and drills.
