All-Comers Basketball Festival Report
March 22, 2011 The inaugural All-Comers Wheelchair Basketball Festival was held on Saturday, March 11, 2011 with over 24 participants attending the afternoon event at Douglas College. A mix of both veteran and new athletes came out to the event which saw seven first time participants to the sport of wheelchair basketball.
The afternoon showcased 4 on 4 scrimmages, a team relay challenge, and a skills session, providing an opportunity for athletes to hone their skills in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. read more...
Victoria Hosts Great Basketball Weekend
March 11, 2011 Over 40 participants enjoyed two days of wheelchair basketball at the PISE in Victoria. Representatives from the BC Breakers, the Be Squad, Nanaimo, and the Fraser Valley all came to the Island to take part in mixture of skills and games led by Joe Higgins and guest coaches from Seattle. read more...

BURNABY, BC – Outstanding contributions and achievements in the sport of wheelchair basketball in British Columbia were recognized Saturday evening at the BC Division of the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball League (CWBL) Awards Banquet. In attendance at the banquet, were over 75 members of the BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) including players, officials and partners.

BC Finals Schedule Announced
February 25, 2011 BC-CWBL Division 1 & 2 Finals will be held at Douglas College in New Westminster on March 5 & 6 (Sat & Sun). Six Division 2 and two Division 1 teams will be competing for the provincial championship.
Anyone is welcome to come and cheer our athletes including recrationally competitive to elite level athletes!
